Interview with Sany Tchakala Traore

Sany21. What is your full name? Sany Tchakala Traore
2. Where were you born? Born in Togo.
3. Where do you live? I live in Stockholm, Sweden.
4. What is your family situation (single, married, children)? I am married and I have one child.
5. What is your educational background?E.g. what school(s) have you attended? I attended “terminal”, which is last year in college ( lycee).
6. What is your professional background?E.g. what jobs have you had in the past and what job do you currently have? I worked in a shop in Togo, now I am working with sanitation issues.
7. How did you first get in contact with Action10? I got in contact with Action 10 through Cecilia.
8. What is your role or title at Action10? My role is to help and support in different ways and to give advice when it comes to questions regarding Togo.
9. What are your tasks at Action10? I do not have any tasks right now, but I am a member of the Evaluation planning workgroup.
10. Why did you join Action10? I joined Action 10 to help fight extreme poverty in the world and especially in Africa.
11. What do you expect Action10 to achieve in the following five years? I expect us in Action 10 to achieve some of our goals,  especially the goals regarding  providing education to all children in the rural areas and to help all women so that they can start their own businesses.
12. How can Action10 be improved? Action 10 can be improved by promoting the organisation more so that more volunteers will get involved. This way more great ideas will be born.
13. What do you like about Action10? What i like with Action10 is the face to face meetings with the Program Partners.
14. What is your biggest accomplishment in life? I haven’t gotten to do any big accomplishment in my life yet, but “insha allah” I will sooner or later do something.
15. If you could choose anything that you would like to do, what would it be? I would like to work with football issues. This is what I know best.
16. What are the things you treasure and value the most in life? My religion, my family and to be able to help those in need.
